Projekts “Heart of Hanza” saņēmis ilgtspējas atzinību

Heart of Hanza has already earned prestigious recognition – taking home the title of “Most Sustainable Project” at the Sustainability in Architecture, Construction, Design 2024 competition, which brings together top developments from across the Baltic States.

Developed with a strong focus on sustainable living, Heart of Hanza stands out not only for its premium-quality homes but also for the positive impact it creates for both the community and the environment.

Key sustainability features include:

  • Class A energy efficiency for long-term performance and reduced environmental footprint
  • Rainwater collection tanks integrated into the basement level
  • A completely car-free courtyard for cleaner air and a safer, quieter environment
  • Natural soil planting to ensure healthy growth of trees and shrubs
  • Full accessibility for wheelchair and stroller users
  • Playgrounds and landscaped recreation areas for residents of all ages
  • A dedicated space for pets – including areas for play and paw-washing

“We believe sustainability should be practical, thoughtful, and visible in everyday living – from energy efficiency to inclusive design,” says the development team.

The Sustainability in Architecture, Construction, Design competition has been running for over 10 years in Latvia, and in the past three years has grown into a Baltic-wide platform showcasing projects that reflect real, forward-thinking solutions in green building, design, and architecture.

With this award, Heart of Hanza reinforces its position not only as a modern residential complex, but also as a responsible, future-focused contributor to Riga’s urban landscape.
