On April 3, 2025, the Heart of Hanza residential project celebrated a key construction milestone — the traditional rafter celebration, symbolising the completion of the building’s main structure. Located at Hanzas iela 3b, in the prestigious historic centre of Riga, this moment marked a new chapter in the development of one of the capital’s most anticipated residential complexes.
More than 50% of the apartments have already been reserved or sold, with remaining homes available starting from €160,000. Interest continues to grow as buyers are drawn to the project’s prime location and exceptional quality of life.
Offering 127 energy-efficient Class A apartments ranging from 49 to 350 m², Heart of Hanza is designed with comfort, sustainability, and modern urban living in mind. Each apartment features sunny private terraces, while the ground floor will host offices, boutique shops, and cafés, adding vibrancy to the surrounding neighbourhood. In total, the project represents a €35 million investment, with €17 million in financing provided by BluOr Bank.
“We are creating a place where the rhythm of city life meets a peaceful, harmonious environment. Heart of Hanza is designed for those who value lifestyle as much as location – with culture, education, business and green spaces all just steps away,” says Aleksandra Strode, Member of the Board, LNK Properties.
Built to the highest standards of energy efficiency, the building features advanced materials, engineering solutions, and individual heating and ventilation systems. The Hanzas Street façade will be beautifully illuminated, sidewalks landscaped, and the vibrant commercial promenade will provide a welcoming and secure environment day and night.
Inside the enclosed courtyard, residents will enjoy a lush biodiverse garden, children’s playgrounds, seating areas, and dedicated spaces for pets to play and unwind.
“With the load-bearing structures now completed, we’re moving forward with roof construction, façade works, interior finishing, and utility installation. It’s exciting to see Heart of Hanza begin to take its final shape in the cityscape,” shares Genadijs Kamkalovs, Director of LNK Industries.
“As one of our most complex projects — located within Riga’s UNESCO-listed historic centre — the work has demanded precision and innovation every step of the way.”
The project is the work of acclaimed local firms:
- Developer: LNK Properties
- Architecture & Interior Design: AB3D
- Construction: LNK Industries
“We see Heart of Hanza as a modern interpretation of Riga’s timeless architectural values — bringing life and energy to the heart of the city. This project redefines urban living, with tranquil courtyards just steps from lively cafés and cultural landmarks,” adds Juris Mitenbergs, the project’s architect.
The celebration also served as a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated builders and craftsmen bringing the vision to life — a shared achievement on the way to welcoming new residents.
The Heart of Hanza building is set for completion in spring 2026, promising not only comfortable homes, but also a meaningful contribution to Riga’s evolving urban landscape.
