The Heart of Hanza residential project is moving forward with strength and momentum, having secured €17 million in financing for its construction. Located at Hanzas Street 3b, the development sits at a prime intersection between Riga’s prestigious Historic Centre and the dynamic Skanste business district.

The project will feature 127 thoughtfully designed apartments, ranging from 49 to 350 m², with spacious and sunny terraces on the 6th and 7th floors. In addition to residential space, the building will include 3 office units (354 m²) and 4 commercial spaces (1,643 m²) on the ground floor, creating a vibrant mixed-use environment.

“When developing Heart of Hanza, we had young professionals and families in mind – people who want everything close at hand. Business centres, top schools, Riga’s finest restaurants, cultural venues, entertainment, sports and outdoor leisure – it’s all just steps away,” says Aleksandra Strode, Member of the Board at LNK Properties.

One of the project’s standout features is its car-free, private courtyard, designed as a safe and serene urban retreat. Residents will enjoy lush gardens, children’s playgrounds, social seating areas, and a dedicated space for pets to play, exercise, and wash their paws. The ground floor is set to become a lively social hub, with shops and cafés, including an elegant bechereya that promises to become a favourite spot for residents and visitors alike – serving freshly brewed coffee and warm, baked pastries every day.

Built to Class A energy performance standards, the complex focuses on sustainability, comfort, and efficiency. Every apartment will include individual heating controls and a ventilation system with heat recovery, ensuring optimal indoor climate and energy savings. The Hanzas Street façade will be artistically illuminated, complemented by well-designed sidewalks and green public areas, creating a safe and welcoming pedestrian experience from morning to night.

The total investment in the Heart of Hanza project is projected at €35 million, and the building is expected to be completed and operational by early Spring, 2026.
